Out of the mouths of our babes...

Greta is taking Spanish, Barrett was testing her knowledge...
Greta: "I'm a Spanish girl."
Barrett: "Oh yeah, how do you say 'letter' in Spanish?"
Greta: (devilish look on her face, eyes go side to side) "I don't know, Gringo."

Obama Rally

We couldn't have asked for better weather for Barack Obama's visit to the CSU campus.  The crowd was estimated by our local paper to be 45,000 to 50,000 people!  The rally in Denver that same morning had an estimated 100,000 people, the largest of Obama's US rallies.  (The crowd in Berlin was 200,000.)    As you could well imagine, the line to get in to see him was literally miles long, so we found a nice sunny spot where we could at least hear him.

Nana and Amanda came up from Denver, and we were able to meet up with the Roberts' and the Shueys, the kids had a great time playing together.  There was a lot of excitement in the air, as election day approaches.  We are really hoping Colorado goes blue this year, and if these crowds are any indication, it will!!!
